Check out these photos of Alexis and her brother, Derek! They were lucky to visit two very important locations over Memorial Day weekend - the Statue of Liberty (photo below) and Ellis Island (photo above). Ellis Island was an important port of entry for immigrants moving into the United States. Alexis will be our expert as we study immigration in social studies over the next few weeks. Looks like an amazing trip!
